Drew Huffman, DO

Dr. Drew Huffman is a board-certified Rheumatologist and author with twenty years of experience in diagnosing and managing autoimmune and noninflammatory rheumatic conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Sjogren’s, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, Gout, Pseudogout, Myositis, Vasculitis, Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Tendonitis and Bursitis.

Dr. Huffman utilizes standard of care treatment protocols with oral, self-injectable, and intravenous medications and is trained in joint drainage and injection. He is active in and encourages consideration of ongoing clinical studies when appropriate. 

Dr. Huffman attended medical school at The University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He then went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency at The University of Kansas - Wichita and completed his training with a fellowship program in Rheumatology at The University of Louisville.

He has been awarded the Compassionate Doctor Recognition as well as The Patient Choice Award and has become known for his passion to educate patients about the varying disease processes and treatment options as well as investigate for other potential issues that might be producing the current complaints.
